Invercargill is the regional capital and commercial hub of Southland. Founded in the 1850’s, it is New Zealand’s southernmost city - and one of the southernmost cities in the world. Numerous heritage buildings give the city a charming old-world quality, while the magnificent Queens Park impresses with its sprawling 80 hectares of beautifully kept gardens, wildlife habitats, playgrounds and sports areas.

Fondly dubbed the "City of Water and Light", referring to the long summer daylight hours, you will see residents walking the streets and parks in the evenings enjoying the extra twilight hours.

Wide streets in a gridded layout make it easy to find your way around the city to enjoy the excellent cultural attractions, outstanding nature reserves and parks, and lively cafes, restaurants and bars. There is something for the whole family in Invercargill!

Go-karting, tenpin bowling, paintball, horse trekking, playing sports at the ILT Stadium Southland, swimming at Splash Palace, catching the latest movie at Reading Cinemas Invercargill, taking a guided tour of a boutique food and beverage producer – these are just some of the exciting opportunities in Invercargill!

If it is the great outdoors you seek, Invercargill and Southland are your paradise. Fishing, hunting, diving or just camping you will be spoilt by the options including the beautiful stops along the Southern Scenic Route to the Catlins. The vast array of river, lakes and beaches is second to none.

Only a 2-hour drive to Te-Anau- Fiordland and 2 ½ hours to the southern playground -Queenstown there is no excuses to not be on an adventure.

The Master Plan

Rockdale Mews’s stunning setting forms the basis of a significant residential development which utilises an innovative approach to urban design to create a community set in a quality environment.

When completed Rockdale Mews will encompass 49 stunning new homes with clean lines, new roading and a variety of property styles and colours.

Thus, ensuring the values of the homes are enhanced with like-for-like quality within the development. As the stages unfold and develop, we see the desire to be a part of this very affordable opportunity to gain momentum until sold out.

A quality sub-division that the Invercargill Real Estate Market has been waiting for an exceptionally long time is becoming a reality.
